Established
in 1971, Colex
Holdings Limited is one of the pioneers of waste management
in Singapore. Listed on the SESDAQ in April 1999, Colex
today specialises in waste disposal for a wide portfolio of
clients including commercial offices, shopping complexes,
food courts, cineplexes, residential buildings and warehouses.
With more than 30 years experience, Colex
has established a strong market position by pioneering new
value-added services, introducing the latest fully mechanised
waste disposal vehicles and portable waste compactors and
ensuring maximum utilisation of resources.
With the acquisition of Integrated Property Management
Pte Ltd (IPM) in 1999, Colex's activities are extended
to include contract cleaning of commercial, industrial and
residential buildings. In the same year, Colex
is awarded a five-year contract, to manage the public waste
collection for Bedok sector, by the Ministry of the Environment.
Another milestone is achieved in February 2003 when Colex
attained the ISO 9001: 2000 award certification.
Colex
continues to forge strategic alliances and
business relationships with other members of the industry
and the Ministry of Environment.
